What is Guided Conversation & Movement?

Guided Conversation & Movement is a gentle and holistic form of support for those who feel stuck or out of balance — physically, emotionally, or mentally.
Through a combination of conversation and mindful movement, we explore the patterns, tension and experiences that may be held in your body. The process is never rushed; everything happens at your pace, with care and respect for what feels right for you.

Talking helps you find words for what you’re going through — an important step in the healing process. Movement helps your body release what words alone cannot reach. When body and mind begin to communicate again, new space opens for calm, strength and clarity.

Each session is unique. Sometimes we simply talk. Other times we combine conversation with soft somatic movements, breathing, or yoga-based practices. Together we listen to what your body needs that day.

You don’t need any experience of yoga or therapy to take part. The sessions are a complement to other forms of treatment — a space where you can reconnect with yourself and gently begin to heal from within.

How Conversation and Movement Work Together

The yoga movements we practice can sometimes act like a form of body-based therapy. What might have felt out of reach in years of traditional therapy can often be experienced through gentle, mindful movement. We uncover layers in the body that have been locked away, often as a way to protect yourself from difficult experiences. Yoga allows us to gently open doors you may never have dared to open before.

I am here as a supportive guide throughout the process. We always start with a conversation so I can understand what your body and mind need. Sometimes the first session is just talking, other times we combine conversation with movement right from the start. Everything happens at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.

What Happens in a Session?

Each session is tailored to you. The first meeting may be only conversation, while later sessions might combine conversation with movement, or focus entirely on movement.

  • Tools and practices to continue at home

Why I Offer This Service

For many years, I have offered private lessons and met countless people navigating difficult traumas. I was often asked why I didn’t provide guided conversation as a service — now I do.

I have also realized that my strength lies in listening to people where they are, with respect and warmth. I want to offer a safe space where you can meet yourself with guidance and support — no matter where you are on your life journey.

To be able to support you even more gently, I have completed Step 1 in trauma-informed yoga and am currently working on Step 2. This has given me a deeper understanding of how trauma settles in the body, and how simple, mindful movements — combined with presence and attentive guidance — can help release it, always at your pace and on your terms.

A Complement to Other Treatments

This guided conversation and movement service is a complement to traditional therapy and medical care. I am not a psychologist or a doctor, but I provide a gentle, holistic support for anyone who wants to work with both body and mind.

You are welcome to participate regardless of whether you have previous experience with therapy or medical treatment. There are no requirements to book a session.

Video Add-On

Many students have asked if they can get a video of the exercises from their private sessions. Now you can purchase video recordings of the exercises we cover. Any new exercise you learn will be added to your previous videos.

Prices are per person. For each additional participant, there is an extra fee of 350 SEK per session.

Book Your Private Session

Booking & Payment Terms for Guided Conversation & Movement

Booking
Bookings are made through the website form and are confirmed by email from Yogama. By booking, you enter into a binding agreement with Yogama, effective from the day after the confirmation is sent.

Payment
Payment for private sessions is due at the time of booking and can be made via Swish, bank transfer, or wellness voucher.

Cancellation & Refund Policy for Private Sessions
  • 500 SEK of the session price is a non-refundable booking fee, regardless of when the session is canceled or rescheduled.
  • You may cancel or reschedule without extra cost up to 6 days before the session.
  • Cancellation or rescheduling within 6 days before the session will incur a 400 SEK fee in addition to the booking fee.
  • Cancellation or rescheduling less than 24 hours before the session, or no-show, will be charged the full session fee.
These terms apply without exception, including in cases of illness, injury, or other obstacles.

Note: Swedish law on distance contracts and off-premises contracts (2005:59) does not apply, as Yogama organizes the session, reserves a possible location, and makes the time unavailable for other bookings upon your order. To avoid misunderstandings, please email your cancellation to [email protected].

Cancelled Sessions

Yogama reserves the right to cancel a private session. If this occurs, you are entitled to a full refund.
